Mini-Police Project

Dear Resident,

For your awareness, your local Pcso's (Andy &Fiona) have been spending time at Laceby Acres Academy recently where we have launched a Mini-Police project. This is for 10 pupils at the school who each receive a mini-police uniform consisting of a cap, high-visibility tabard and lanyard which all display Mini-Police logos. They take part in several sessions which we run at the school which include: Anti-bullying, Celebrating Diversity, Stranger Danger and Road safety to name a few. Tomorrow we are looking at home home security and crime prevention.

This is a courtesy e-mail to inform you that tomorrow (Tuesday 07th October 2025), the Mini-Police team along with Pcso's and member of staff from the school will be in your street. The pupils will be conducting an “Environmental Visual Audit”, where basically they will be observing the street, properties and vehicles in the area to identify positive security measures and also look for any security vulnerabilities. They will be noting this down in their notebooks and then we will return to the school after an hour to discuss their findings. 

So, if you see us out and about in the morning (between 9:45-10:45) then please feel free to come out and speak with us if you wish. We will be happy to give any crime prevention advice if required.
